New York New York!

We've just got back from New York
(oh the airport delays, oh the jetlag!)

The city was better than anything I had EVER imagined!

I'll tell you our adventures and show you the scrummy things I bought when I've caught up with sleep!
I'm sure you've seen enough photos of the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Times Square, and there was so much people-watching to do I didn't take many
pics. . . but I just HAD to show you this dress shop window display
. . .newspaper
. . .denim
. . .Burberry
. . .fabulous!

I would love to go to New York, I've not heard of anyone not liking it there so far!

I love the dress made out of newspaper!

Look forward to reading more about it and seeing the photos.

Warm wishes

Don't you love New York. Please tell me you didn't spend 4 hours waiting in line to go to the top of the Empire State Building. I'd rather sit in the park and check out the street performers...and give them the money I spent to get to the top!

Love those photos, much more interesting than the touristy photos. Wow, what amazing dresses. I have been to NY but didn't like it. We went to the top of the World Trade Centre. Looking forward to reading about what you got up to there.

I presume the dress was made from the New York Times. What a place New York is, took me days to get over it. Loved Macy's and how very quite it is in Central Park.

Look forward to hearing the next installment know what you mean about jet lag.

We are actually going to be stuck out here as BA have cancelled our flight - oh dear another day in San Francisco don't know I can bear it.

So jealous of your trip. Husband is resisting pleading from us three to go to NY in the autumn. He loves the city, but doesn't want to go this year. I've threatened to take the kids on my own. Hmmmmmmm....xxx

John Gray- take me with you next time you go back- I won't take up much room, honest!

Debbie, how will you be able to bear another day's holiday!!

Andi's English Attic- I'm sure 3 of you can manage to overpower your husband ;0)

The newspaper dress is fab! I loved the photos you took of the diner. I haven't eaten in a diner since I was a kid in Maine! Did the coffee and waffles really cure your hangover? I'll have to remember that! I've never been to NYC so am looking forward to more of your pics and INventures as I call them! xx
