Demanding Diva

Fluffed-up with success from drawing the winners in my
Very Vintage Giveaway,
Hennypenny has become an overnight Diva and demanded her own blog.

Anything to keep an old hen happy in her dotty dotage
so please would you pop over and visit her at
I know she'd love to hear from you!

PS, I've told Bruce the Horse and Kit not to even think about it
and in future giveaways, Ted draws the winners!!

There'll be no living with her after this. If my own Henny Penny finds out she could have her own blog, I'm in trouble! Love it.

Six brand new chickens moved in next door to us (one for each grandchild). There is sooooo much chicken love going on, we are loving listening to it all. :O)))))

Hennypenny is going to be a handful now, methinks!

I applaud you for rescuing Henny Penny and giving her a better life! My love for chickens began with a rescue as well---a broiler that fell off a a truck on the way to the processing plant. A friend of mine found him badly injured in the road and brought him to me for help. I helped him recover, and rather than becoming someone's dinner, he spent the rest of his days as a beloved house pet. Knowing him changed my life and my view of chickens. They are truly amazing creatures. Thank you for all you have done for Henny Penny!
