Thursday Morning Smile :)

A rather dull grey day here, not warm and summery at all.

I love the sheer joy of blowsy and colourful dahlias.
These came from a little roadside table outside a local cottage. . .irresistable!

They've cheered my morning and I thought they might also cheer yours, banishing the Thursday Morning Blahs.
I've made the photo extra-large for maximum smile-power :)

. . .with love from me to you all xx

They are a lovely sight and it is certainly grey and wet here in Devon at the moment !

They are stunning and yes they absolutely brighten the day.. well 'night' here.

I love those little 'road side' vendors.. be it flowers, fruit or vegetables, I am always drawn to them. Drives my husband nuts.. :)

Ooh...I wish I could put a little table by the road to sell my goodies on. Unfortunately, we are almost 2 miles from a road!!

Gorgeous flowers.

Blousy is a good description. I love buying flowers outside someone's gate or house- had some lovely Sweet Williams years ago. I sell eggs but today have put out a few cucumbers & courgettes - no takers yet !

Such a cheery photo! Don't you just love those little tables outside houses? I do!

They are so cheerfully old fashioned aren't they? A lady in our village who lives near the post office always sells them for a mere 50p a bunch!

They do look lovely! I love those tables outside peoples houses. It's such a friendly thing to do. We bought some gorgeous dahlias once too from deepest Dorset, they seemed to last for ages..

I love Dahlia's with their beautiful colours but they do remind me that it wont be long before Autumn comes.

Oh Yes this does cheer me, thank you, very sweet of you! :) It's a dull grey day today but Spring is definately on the way here in Aussie!

Hope the weekend brings you lovely bright sunny weather! Sending smiles. :)

Dull day in Northumberland too, so your dahlias are just the tonic to lift the spirits....

Lovely, just what's needed today as it's grey and miserable here.

It is so difficult to think of you in grey and dreary. It is very sunny here and hot and humid as if I was having a hot flash for every one of my friends at the same moment. It's been this way all summer...I am really not complaining though because I know the grey and dreary will be coming on the heels of my dripping flat hair!

People sell flowers on a table outside their houses...like lemonade stands? How quaint and friendly is that?????!!!!!
