DOH!

I'm not embarrassed to say that Vintage at the Village Hall was an unmitigated success.
My stallholders excelled themselves with their exquisitely displayed wares and unstinting enthusiasm for the fair.
The support of so many people (many of whom I didn't even know) helped transform our quirky little Parish Hall into a bustling emporium heaving with eager buyers- some 700 people through the door- and the atmosphere was just as I had envisaged. You all made my dream come to life.

I spent sleepless nights fretting about The Important Thing That I Would Forget To Do.

And I did it.

No blimmin photos!!!

Congratulations, so glad it went well. Only sorry we couldn't attend as we had to be in London for our son to go to school. Saw some pictures on other blogs, it looked great.

Elaine
As you say it was a great success, I knew it would be.
Like yourself, as I didn't have my helper I was also remiss in taking any pictures, which I truly regret as it was such a fantastic venue and the stalls beautiful.
A hearty thank you and congratulations to you both.

Same here - only three slightly out of focus pics taken on my phone at the end when my stand was looking a bit forlorn from lack of stock! It had been too difficult to take photos before because the hall was so full of eager buyers. Then my phone's battery ran out so not one pic of anyone else's stand and I was surrounded by some really beautiful displays. But you know what Elaine? It was SO busy that really none of us had the time to stand around taking pics we were too busy selling. So well done and looking forward to the next one! Cx

That sounds phenomenally good, as I know of a few lately where trade has been very poor, so well done you (and thank goodness you didn't have snow!) So glad it went well.

I got a few photos people, but it was so heaving that they were hard to take! AND, I haven't been able to give credit to all the stall holders.
But thankyou for a lovely day everyone :0)
It was great.
Looking forward to the next one now....

Hi Elaine - glad to hear it is not just me - I was good I took lots of photos of our fair and then promptly deleted them!!!!

So glad to hear it was a success - I never doubted that it would be and 700 people through the door is outstanding, give yourself a pat on the back.
