Positive Passwords

I'm the firmest believer in Postive Thought.

Knee-deep in trouble, I try to keep my focus on an ok outcome (i.e: a car CAN be mended!) and grab any little mantras that might re-enforce some positive thinking.

Sometimes in the midst of muddle, I've written it all down and made a corresponding list of small coping steps to climb out of the mire.

Writing Things Down is such a great way to legitimise thought which I guess is why diaries and blogs are such precious tools.

Having noticed how much time I spend typing passwords I've decided that from now on, instead of family birthdays and the ilk, all mine will be Positive Affirmations- making a useful action out of a meaningless moment, because why waste an opportunity!

Surely it's better to say lifeisREALLYgr8! than @+**!!00abc

That's a very good idea. New Year seems to bring out the positive in us.
I don't know if you read a blog called CluckleBees, but there is a very funny video on there at the moment which speaks of the positive:

Haha! I was always forgetting my passwords and even though I tried to make them all the same (except for financial transactions which I keep unique) I soon had to amend them one by one as I continued to forget them. I've now also changed to use a funny positive and it's been the easiest of all to remember!

What a brilliant idea, I will definitely try it especially as I can never remember my passwords.

I have already started that, there is something that I will learn to do, either before or when we get to live by the sea, every time that I type it, it reminds me that A. one day we will live at the seaside & B. I will master another skill that I have dreamed about.
Keep up the positiveness!

Here's something that fits you to a T...
She can deal with stress and carry heavy burdens. She smiles when she feels like screaming, and she sings when she feels like crying. She cries when she's happy and laughs when she's afraid. Her love is unconditional. There's only one thing wrong with her. She forgets what she's worth!
I don't know who came up with this..but I did not..but it fits you!

Passwords, the pain of my life oh I wish I could remember them, I have variations of a couple of letters and numbers and still get into a terrible muddle! What a good idea!

Hi Elaine
What a great idea. Whenever I feel really low or cross about something that is in the end fixable, I think about how lucky I am compared to the tough, crap life my mum had. I am a millionaire compared to her and yet I let stupid things really bring me down. You have made me realise that sometimes we can help ourselves by making the simplest change. Roll on a calmer 2011 for us all.
Thanks for your lovely comment, as ever, but I too have many unfinished projects! But in this new positive frame of mind they are not half done, but already started.
