He did well to survive that!! Lucky, plucky little Humpty Dumpty.

That's the only downside to letting Mum's farrow the natural way, they do tend to injure or kill the odd piglet by accident, but then I guess that's how nature designed it to be. The strong and alert piglets know instictively to keep towards Mum's head except at feeding time.

A pig can't turn it's head to see it's very back end so accidents happen. :-(

So sweet, poor little thing! Our horses are turned out with some black pigs at the moment and Barnaby isn't keen on them at all. They know to keep out of his way!
