whats in your car boot?

I have to confess when I set off this morning for the Saturday car boot
I wasn't expecting to come home with 35 vintage cigar boxes
and two bin bags full of old pewter. . .

but hey, a girl couldn't walk away could she??!

Ha Ha - we were car booting too! Apart from the fact that our car boot is a scummy mess (I clean the house - the car is Mr N's job!)this morning's boot contained a Victorian glass rolling pin,an antique painting of a spaniel, a Victorian wooden chess board,an art deco amber necklace, an antique Chinese box, Norwegian carved box, old copper measure...
I'll tell you where my car boot is if you tell me where yours is!

I'd love to see the look on the police's face if they stopped you for a random search, it looks like the hoard from a stately home break in! x

I don't have a car boot... I have a pick-up truck and you can only imagine what I can pile in it!

I'd rather not disclose the contents of my car boot ... it's shameful!

Wow, quite a haul :-)

In my car boot - NOTHING, we either sold it or donated it to charity on the way home from the boot sale, and the only thing I bought there was a roll of bin bags to bag up the clothes for the charity shop.

I'm happy :-)

Oooh - love the cigar boxes! The pewter looks ripe for an appearance as a prop in a costume drama featuring a burglar who didn't run fast enough!

Shame they weren't full of cigars. Have to admit to having a penchant for a man who smokes a cigar!
