absent due to unforseen crochet. . .

I know I've been a tad absent of late
and It's not that I don't love blogging
cos I do
you see,
I've learnt to crochet
and I love that too
and I felt my heart's desire
was to make a sampler blanket,
by square
I may be gone for some while. . .
but I'm still thinking of you!

It's going to look gorgeous... and keep your knees warm when blogging.

Crikey, you squares are very advanced for a 'newbee'. I taught myself just over a year ago, and still only do basic (ish) granny squares. The blanket will look lovely, cannot wait to see it finished.

Yeah ... whatever!!

You're not thinking of us at all, you're making squares :-(

Really, WOW ... they are seriously good squares for a beginner, I'm impressed (although feeling abandoned) and I love your header photo, you've really caught the colours perfectly, I can never quite get it looking as magnificent as it is 'in the flesh'.

If I don't hear from you before have a very Merry and Woolly Christmas ;-)

It's hard to believe you've only just learnt to crochet! they're lovely, (I'd like the plain pale blue one please ha ha) lets hope you can get the time to sit down and finish it over Christmas. All the blogs have slowed down, we're all too busy. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.xx

Beautiful - these are very beautiful. I could see them making up into a wonderful, warm wrap or shawl.
