brave little snowdrop!

the earth around its tiny bulb has been
clean washed away by all the rain,
but still the brave little snowdrop
bursts into bud to cheer
our January days. . .

thank-you, little snowdrop

I was in our churchyard this morning and the snowdrops are just peeking through. Not as far as your little one... But they are trying!

Oh my goodness I am so envious...
We have about 10 inches of snow and two days ago the windchill was -40C.
My little snowdrops are tucked way beneath a thick blanket of snow waiting patiently.
Have a lovely weekend.

Oh, my, how lovely! I want to go out in the garden now with a torch! Also, I've just signed up for a 1 day beginners crochet course in early Feb, so I shall be catching up with you!

Thank you! No snowdrops here yet though blue tits were checking out my pottery bird house today.
My heart is now officially gladdened!
